We've been involved in fablab implementation, design of tinkering studios, architecture models, rapid prototyping and product design, art and education projects, brand activation. We're experts on how to bring ideas to life.

3D Printing

We print objects, models and prototypes on demand. Various 3D printer models are available to sell, lease and rent. We custom-design and build printers to meet your needs. We've developed our own large-scale printer model, YARR.

Workshops

We've held dozens of workshops and training sessions (for beginner, intermediate and advanced users); we're the first BQ Training Center in Portugal; we offer open days for makers looking to try and test equipment.

Do you have a desktop 3D printer that is sick? Poor print quality? Irrational behaviour? Unusual noise? Smoke? If you are having problems with your printer we offer an in-store diagnostic and repair service and can also supply replacement parts.

Who we are?

LEDs & Chips is an independent Lisbon-based studio focusing on creative electronics, physical computing, digital fabrication, 3D printing, and educational robotics. We're something of a mashup between a tech startup, a makerspace, a tinkering studio and an online store.

Where we are?

The philosophy at LEDs & Chips is an ongoing process and something of a work-in-progress! We believe in the open-source movement, maker culture, empowerment, the DIY/ DIT/ DIWO approach, interdisciplinary collaboration, hands-on education and active learning. We want to make things better by making better things.
